This delightful small town of around 10,000 is named for Robert Driscoll, an early settler in Texas. It is home to the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds, which hosts 200 events a year, including livestock shows, boxing events and rodeos. Founded in 1906, Robstown is officially recognized by the Texas State Legislature as the birthplace of Texas hold 'em poker.

This lovely small park is one among several on Ocean Boulevard. There are picnic tables and several nice benches with incredible bay views. It's a fantastic place to make a brief stop, enjoy the scenery, and watch the ships go by.

Oso Bay offers a unique blend of natural beauty, diverse ecosystems, and a variety of outdoor activities due to the combination of freshwater from Oso Creek and saltwater from Corpus Christi Bay. It is home to the Hans and Pat Suter Wildlife Refuge, where some of the best birdwatching in the world takes place. As you ride by, watch for pelicans, herons, and egrets that inhabit this area. If you are lucky enough to ride by in the evening, it's worth stopping to enjoy a sunset over this beautiful bay.

This is an excellent waterfront park in the heart of Corpus Christi. It includes a multi-use trail, plenty of green space, a pier, an amphitheater, and a picnic area. It is a great place to stop and stretch your legs while you enjoy the scenic water views.

Mustang Island State Park is a stunning beach location featuring spectacular dunes and abundant wildlife, including hundreds of bird species and sea turtles. The park includes waterfront campsites and over 20 miles of paddling waterways, with kayak rentals available to explore the warm Gulf waters. There is a $5 entrance fee to enjoy the park.

The USS Lexington is a US Navy Essex-class carrier in service from 1943 to 1991. It is now a museum open to the public, where you can tour the flight deck and get up close to the aircraft. If you want to take a break here, there are restrooms, shops, restaurants, and a bike repair station in the plaza.

The city in Texas on the Gulf of Mexico was founded in 1839 and has over 300,000 inhabitants. Special sights are the eighty-year-old aircraft carrier USS Lexington and the numerous murals.
