The refuge is open continuously from June 15 to September 15 and remains accessible every weekend and public holiday outside the high season. Here you have the opportunity to spend the night in a roulotte (shepherd's wagon/wooden caravan). Not exactly cheap but something different. Not here, but I've stayed in the same one on the Way of St. James in the interior of France. There is everything you need in a small space. 2 people including breakfast. 145€.
