A well-paved pedestrian path continues past the "Haus am Ziegeleiteich" nursing home into the town center. The large town church "St. Johannis Baptist" from 1899 can be seen from afar. The church with its colorful window glass, altars and art-historical treasures is very impressive. A visit is therefore very worthwhile. The beautiful town hall square with fountains and a 200-year-old plane tree is another highlight of the city walk. The unique atmosphere of the place invites you to relax and linger. The landmark of the town of Steinfeld, which is located at the end of the route, is also worthwhile. A huge, ancient boulder, which is intended to commemorate the soldiers who died in the First and Second World Wars, represents the destination of the walk.
