The Hubert Humphrey Bridge was built in 1962, and in 1968, Hubert H. Humphrey dedicated it. The Merritt Island Causeway connects Cocoa, Merritt Island, and Cocoa Beach.

Cocoa Riverfront Park, situated along the Indian River in Cocoa, offers stunning waterfront views, recreational amenities, and a vibrant atmosphere.

Mathers Bridge is a 700-foot-long drawbridge with nice views of the Telemar Bay Marina and waters. Be sure to check to see if the bridge has had any changes in the opening schedule before your ride across it.

South Tropical Trail is an incredibly unique road that runs north-south along a tiny, tiny strip of land that comprises the southernmost point of Merritt Island. Surrounded by the Intracoastal and Banana Rivers, you're never very far away from the water as you ride down this unique residential street.

Merritt Island is a long peninsula surrounded by waters home to wildlife like dolphins and manatees and a nighttime bioluminescent glow of glowing plankton that illuminates the water in bright blue. The southern end has a very tropical feel and can be enjoyed via the South Tropical Trail all the way to Dragon Point.

The Brevard Zoo Linear Trail is paved or consists of a boardwalk and stretches from the Brevard Zoo to just past the Pineda Causeway. There are tons of unique flora and fauna to see along this trail. It's easy to take a break and enjoy some of the benches placed along the way too.

At the end of the Brevard Zoo Linear Park Trail sits the Brevard Zoo. This zoo spans 75 acres and houses over 900 animals from 195 species across Florida, South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia. It is a nonprofit, accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and offers animal feedings, kayak tours, behind-the-scenes tours, a train ride, and the Treetop Trek attraction.
