The old lighthouse has survived several tropical storms and hurricanes.

This 8.5-mile trail offers a nice, enjoyable flat path with plenty of access points featuring picnic tables and benches, allowing you to take as many breaks as you need. The wide-open trail is ideal for morning and evening rides when the sun is less intense. Keep an eye out for the variety of wildlife in this area as well.

Built in 1890 to guide ships into Charlotte Harbor, this lighthouse is one of the few in the Florida area open to the public. Additionally, it houses a museum that showcases the rich local history of the area.

Unlike many lighthouses, the Gasparilla Island Lighthouse offers a unique opportunity for visitors. During operational hours (typically managed by a local non-profit), you can climb the tower and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding islands and the Gulf of Mexico.

US 41 Recreational Trail is a 4-mile multi-use path that connects parks, neighborhoods, and commercial areas around Punta Gorda.

This park overlooks the vast Charlotte Harbor and includes a fishing pier, a mangrove boardwalk, and a pleasant picnic area, making it a great place to take a break. It also features the Peace River Wildlife Center, where you can see a wide variety of animals.

The Tour de Punta Gorda is a popular route that takes you through the highlights of Punta Gorda. This section runs along Florida Street, passing by Florida SouthWestern State College and Carmelita Park, where you can take a quick break or extend your ride if you'd like.

This 17-acre park features a 400-foot fishing pier, an interactive fountain, and a veterans park with a Vietnam Memorial Wall. It also offers stunning waterfront views with the Barron Collier Bridge visible in the distance.
