This waterfall, about 8 meters high, is located along the Saukkovaaran trail, in the middle of a protected forest area. The waterfall is most impressive at higher water levels, but even without much water, it's still a stunning sight.

A detour from the main Könkään keino Trail loop is worth it to enjoy the spectacle of the Kiutaköngäs Rapids. The Oulankajoki River is a fine companion for any run in this superb part of the Oulanka National Park.
