If you're looking for a scenic and easy hike in the Friborg Alps, you should visit Les Alpettes, a grassy peak that offers 360° views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. You can start from the village of Semsales and follow the yellow signs to the chapel of Notre-Dame du Niremont, then continue to the large chalet des Alpettes, where you can admire the traditional wooden roof. From there, you can climb to the cross and the highest point of the Alpettes (1413 m), and enjoy the panorama of the Moléson, the Teysachaux and the Niremont.

The grassy summit of Mys Derrey sits 1863 meters above sea level and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The best time to visit this peak is from May to October, when the wildflowers are in bloom and the weather is pleasant. You may also spot wildlife along the path, such as marmots and deer. Mys Derrey is an ideal destination for adventurous hikers.

Magnificent view of the Vanil des Artses. Nice little road for running, you just have to watch out for cyclists.

Small lake in a magical and bucolic landscape. You can go around it, and push further to face the surrounding peaks!

Summit at 1400 m, quite easy from Avvès with a very beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area!
