Built in 1996, Eldåbu’s two cabins have 16 spaces and are popular with cross-country skiers in winter. It’s a good base for adventures to Ramshøgda, a 1,463-metre (4,800 ft) summit that boasts superb views towards Rondane.

Veslefjellbua was opened in 2019 and replaces Gråhøgbu, which was in the reindeer's territory. The Gråhøgbu was dismantled and is now in the Maihaugen open-air museum in Lillehammer. The new DNT hut has very cozy and bright rooms.

Nice little DNT self catering hut. If you don't have a key, you can set up your tent. There is also a fountain.

The Djupslia hut is also the first self-catering hut on the SAGA trail. It has 12 beds.
