A truly beautifully renovated castle that is privately owned. Unfortunately, it cannot be visited. But it is always worth a look over the fence.

Not much of a swimming place, but we did it anyway. 😎 OK, OK... We dipped in, and enjoyed the cold water for a few minutes. There simply isn't enough water for any serious swimming here. On a positive side: drinking water, nice rest places made of wood, shadows, and a meadow where it's even possible to sleep in a tent overnight.

Nicely renovated castle along the road to Slavonice. We passed by very fast, so I'm not sure if it's open for the public. I tried to find more about it, and it's a sad story. A nice little town for centuries, until the Nazis "cleansed" it from the Jews and the "revolutionary guards" subsequently cleansed it from the German speaking population. Probably leaving 3-4 families in the end and subsequently colonising the place with some new people. 😔
