The Multberg rises southeast of the village of Pfungen in the lower Töss Valley. The summit plateau, measuring approximately 45 x 25 meters, is protected by ditches on the west and east sides, and the terrain drops steeply all around. After the excavations were completed, the remains of the wall were covered up again.

After 1841, the Mörsburg stood empty for sixty years, then the Historical Antiquarian Society Winterthur set up shop there, which has used the castle as a museum ever since. Castle Wyden was rebuilt in 1946 after it had largely burned down. The facility had been badly damaged two years earlier when a stray US bomber crashed. On July 19, 1944, the pilotless American plane - it came from an operation over Munich - crashed directly into the castle tower. The plane was probably shot over Friedrichshafen. The team of seven had previously saved themselves from the burning plane by parachute jump in Lake Constance. Miraculously, no one was injured in the crash.

The ruins of Freienstein, also called Alten-Teufen Castle, are the ruins of a hilltop castle at 460 m above sea level.
