After the impressive climb from Conthey up through Erde and Aven and through the impressive tunnels along the La Lizerne gorge, you reach a small plain near Goday. From there, you can take four paths to the different corners of the valley. One of these paths takes you up to Mombas-Dessus. In around 2.5km, you climb almost 250 meters in altitude. On small, winding roads. First, the road takes you through a section of forest. Shortly before the culmination point, you leave the forest and get a wonderful view of the rock faces of Mont Gond.
