Bad Teinach-Zavelstein is a town with 3,220 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2024) in the Calw district of Baden-Württemberg. The town belongs to the Northern Black Forest region. This health resort lies approximately five kilometers west of the district capital, Calw, and is, along with Bad Herrenalb, Bad Liebenzell, and Bad Wildbad, one of the four spa towns in the Calw district. Bad Teinach-Zavelstein is widely known for its crocus blossoms. A beautiful, well-preserved castle ruin in a picturesque village.

Located on the Quellenpfad trail below the road. A beautiful section of the trail… a must-see when hiking through the Eulenbachtal valley.

The town church of Zafelstein (a Württemberg town since 1461) was expanded to its current dimensions in 1578. Before that, around 1379, a small chapel was first mentioned here.

The historic town hall fountain is located opposite the town hall entrance.

St. George's Church is part of the once fortified little town. It was first mentioned as a chapel in 1379 and was given its current dimensions in 1578. The gravestones of the Buwinghausen castle family from the 17th/18th century give the light-flooded interior a special character.
