The Church of Carmine in Scicli is an elegant example of Sicilian Baroque architecture, located in the heart of the city's historic center. Its sober and harmonious façade is characterized by a richly decorated portal and a slender bell tower. The interior, with a single nave, houses valuable stuccoes, frescoes and a magnificent high altar.

The area is fenced and, as private property, is no longer freely accessible. Photos are only possible from outside the high fence. As of Dec. 2024

Cliff that runs along the entire seafront where you can watch the fishermen or maybe take a swim

A small, uncrowded beach where you can perhaps take a short break and swim. The passage behind the beach is beautiful, between the tall reeds and the fields.

A fairly shaded bike path starts from the gate after Patapata (the gate is closed but there's a pedestrian crossing next to it) and runs along the pine forest, then continues near the road and reaches the burned-out factory. From there, you can continue to Marina di Modica, following the rocks until you reach the white path.

If you pass by these parts the former Fornace is definitely a place to visit. Recommended especially at sunset

Between Sampieri and Marina di Modica the burned factory of the former Pennna furnace stands out in all its grandeur. Beautiful beaches precede it and right in front of it there is also a cliff where you can admire the sunset and take a dip
