This is a little-known accommodation on the Alp La Barma above the Lac des Dix. On the signposts nearby it is also referred to as "Cabane des Gentianes", on the swisstopo national map as "Refuge de la Barme". Private property of the Soc. de Gymnastique «La Gentiane», Heremence. 50 places, winter room 15 places. Manned in summer.

The Cabane des Becs de Bosson, located at 2,985 meters above sea level, offers a panoramic view of Mont Blanc, the 4,000-meter peaks of the Val d'Anniviers and the mountains of the Val d'Hérens. The cabin is open during the winter from December 27, 2024 to April 13, 2025 and in the summer from June 28 to October 5, 2025. Built in 1997 and expanded in 2012, the property offers modern comforts and is an ideal starting point for many hikes in the region.

Beautiful little alpine pasture with numerous historic huts... wonderful view of the glaciers at the end of the valley

Can't give an opinion because the place was closed when we went there, but from the outside this place is very nice.
