You can stop off and celebrate at the Waldegg restaurant and at Grandmother's Schnuggebock. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Alpstein mountains from Kronberg to Säntis.

The rest area mentioned in the other comments, really very nice, is a little further down (own highlight). Here, at the Gäbris summit, you are in the middle of the forest. So the short detour doesn't have to be, unless you really want to be at the highest point.
