Cima d'Asta, with its spectacular views, is the highest peak in the Lagorai group.

Rifugio Brentari, named after Ottone Brentari, has a history tied to the Società Alpinisti Tridentini (SAT) and its evolution over time. Construction began in the early twentieth century, and it was the first refuge in the Lagorai mountain range, Cima d'Asta, and suffered significant damage during both world wars.

The Rifugio Cima d'Asta Ottone Brentari, at 2,473 m, is located in the Lagorai group. Open seasonally from June to September, it offers beds (also in the winter room) and is managed by the SAT. Typical cuisine and breathtaking views. For information: www.rifugio-cimadasta.it.

Cima d'Asta is the main peak of the mountain group of the same name. Made up of granite rocks, it differs from the nearby Lagorai reliefs, which are mainly made up of porphyry. Given its geographical contiguity, the Cima d'Asta massif is however considered a subgroup of the Lagorai chain. Characteristic of this area are the numerous lakes of snow origin, called cirque lakes.
