Lake Costa Brunella is a body of water of natural origin, located at 2,013 meters above sea level, in the shadow of the mighty peaks of the Rava Group. Its capacity was increased in the 1940s for hydroelectric purposes with the construction of a dam.

The Malga Sorgazza refuge represents the starting point of the Alta Via del Granito, as well as numerous excursions and sporting activities for summer and winter. Located at 1,450 meters above sea level at the end of the Val Malene, it has a large free car park.
