From 9th to 11th May, feast of the Patron Saints Alfio, Filadelfo and Cirino. Among the crucial moments of the festival we remember the exit of the Nuri (naked): At 1:00 on May 10th the Nuri riding the Giro Santo. They are bare-chested, barefoot men, wearing only a pair of short white trousers and a red ribbon, holding one hand behind their back and a candle or a bouquet of flowers in the other. They run through the streets of Lentini remembering the tour that the Holy Martyrs made, amidst atrocious suffering, around the ancient city walls. The women also arrive behind them, barefoot.

The patron saint is the Madonna of the Snow celebrated on August 5th each year. During the celebrations the painting of the Madonna is placed inside a fercolo and carried in procession

Feast of the patron saint San Rocco on August 16th. The celebrations also include the procession of the simulacrum through the streets of the city

Scordìa ('Scurdìa' in dialect) is a picturesque municipality belonging to the metropolitan city of Catania. Monuments and places of interest include the Mother Church of San Rocco, with its splendid baroque style, and the Church of San Giuseppe in neoclassical style. The municipality is known for its orange production.

Francofonte ('Francufonti' in Sicilian) is a significant agricultural centre, bordering Lentini and Carlentini. The area offers a panoramic view of the citrus landscape, combining mountain, plain and sea. It has an ancient history, with traces of prehistoric civilizations and influences from the times of the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines and Arabs.

Lentini ('Lintini' in Sicilian) is a baroque city located in the Catania Plain, on the slopes of the Iblei Mountains. Founded by the Sicani, it was in the past a Greek and Roman colony, conserving notable archaeological remains. It was one of the main cultural, religious and agricultural centers of Sicily, known for the production of ancient grain and, more recently, of Sicilian Blood Orange. Characteristic is the production of Lentini bread, a mixture of water and durum wheat flour. The city is also notable for its rich archaeological and architectural sites.

Carlentini - Carruntini in Sicilian - is a municipality in the free municipal consortium of Syracuse. Positioned on the Colle Meta Grande, it borders with Lentini and is close to the Piana di Catania and the Lake of Lentini. The city is at the foot of Monte Pancali and Monti Iblei. Carlentini is famous for the production of the blood orange of Sicily, together with Lentini and Francofonte.
