Speke's Mill Mouth waterfall is a popular stopping point, with narrow access to the plunge pool for a dip in the summer. The falls become more impressive following wetter weather.

A great walk with a couple of steep bits. It can get a bit busy if you use the car park at the top of hartland quay

If you want a better effect go when its been raining for a couple of days.

Great little church with many interesting windows, tombs and a well just below the church. there's also a charity tea and cake shop.

Absolutely mesmerizing! This coastal path offers extraordinary views at every turn, making it a must-visit destination. The turquoise blue waters and the vibrant wildflowers scattered across the cliffs provide just a glimpse of the stunning vistas you will encounter on this walk. The enchanting waterfall is an ideal spot for a break and a picnic, where you can admire the panoramic views of the sea as it powerfully crashes against the cliffs below. The scenery remains just as breathtaking on the journey back, leaving us in awe as we reluctantly headed back to the car.

The landscape here is very reminiscent of Ireland. If you have the opportunity, hike to the waterfall after a few rainy days, otherwise you will be disappointed that you don't see what the pictures show here

Here you can enjoy wonderful views over the dramatic and rugged coastline near Eldern Point in North Devon. Eldern Point is infamous because on January 22, 1943, an American Airforce Liberator (B-24D) crashed here due to bad weather and poor visibility. Blackpool Mill Beach is named after Blackpool Mill which sits just off the footpath. You can only reach the beach by foot so it is generally very quiet and unlike many local beaches, dogs are allowed on here throughout the year. It is worth the walk here to appreciate the interesting formations on either side of the beach.

The sharks teeth stretching out into the sea are easily recognisable as Screda Point. Take a close look as you may see climbers hanging onto the cliff faces.

Hartland Quay was once full of indutsrial bustle with the importing of coal, lime and slate and exporting of grain by sea. It is a world away from the peace and tranquility now on the South West Coast Path. The disused quay buildings are now a hotel and a pub. With sea and cliff views it's a wonderful place to stop off on a walk or start out. You can also see Lundy Island from here. A designated marine nature reserve where you can head for day trips.

Dyer's Lookout looks out across Blegberry Beach and Blegberry Cliffs towards Gull Rock and Damehole Point. There are climbing routes here, although perhaps not for long with erosion scratching the coastline away.
