An excellent wide gravel path - wheelchair friendly - path to this fantastic viewpoint overlooking the Strathtay. Definitely worth the detour.

The stone bridge across the River Braan is now open again after being closed for over a decade.

Fairly steep and rugged with potentially lots of loose rocks and water channels after heavy rain. Watch out for the deep water gullies that cross the path.

Plenty of seating in pleasant surroundings to rest those feet and have refreshments. Shop across the road for provisions and the theatre cafe with toilets next door.

The force of water is awe-inspiring and a bit frightening.

it's really a nice wood walk up to the PineCone. I guess the views are stunning when the conditions are less but misty but it was still just beautiful up there.
