The Bridge and viewpoint are incredible and well worth the half hour round trip getting the car park... A must stop if you have the time. Careful of the Midges... Even by west coast standards this is unbearable... Easily half of the visitors were sensibly in face nets.

Quite a popular little hike, so it's quite busy. The caves aren't really that impressive - apart from their age and the finds, they're quite small - but there's a really strong spring on the way, which basically creates a fairly large stream on the side of the path.

Dog Falls is an impressive waterfall on the River Affric. The best viewpoint is an out and back detour from the running loop, but it's well worth a stop.

One of the best waterfalls to see in Scotland, and the sheer height of the falls and gorge are impressive.

The viewpoint sticks out from the trees and gives a great view back to the falls. The bridge can be seen here.

The bridge can be an airy experience to cross, but gives a fantastic view down the gorge. The path to here is good, and short.

Beautiful little lochan and suprisingly enough THE place in Scotland to see dragonflies and damsel flies in July and August!

Beautiful little trail, certainly when the weather is nice. Do take the few extra steps up to the viewpoint, well worth it.

A small waterfall which will need to be crossed. This is easily done, and is a pleasant spot not too far from the car park.

Great caves! They're obviously part of a system that you can descend into when you have experience.

Highly recommended visit the The Bones Caves

Beautiful waterfall on the walk up to the Bones Caves.

Allt nan Uamh Waterfall provides a beautiful start to your walk only a few hundred metres from the car park. After this the trail follows alongside the noisy and fast flowing river for about a kilometre, and then in an instant it disappears and the river is dry, as from this point the water flows underground, unless there has been heavy rainfall.

From the car park and following a right turn at the fork marked with a large boulder you cross the river bed and climb gently above the burn towards the base of Creag nan Uamh - the Crag of the Caves. Following this is a narrow and steep section of path, be aware of rockfall risk.

Encircled by lovely Scots pine and boasting fine Highland scenery, Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin is a gorgeous body of water. A minor road runs along its northern shore, while forestry roads take the Affric Kintail long-distance trail along its southern shore. Its islands were formed when the water levels were raised in the 1950s as part of a hydro electric scheme. Beyond the loch's western end, there are no more roads and Glen Affric becomes increasingly remote.
