The Auberge de la Jasserie is located at an altitude of 1,310 meters, at the foot of Crêt de la Perdrix. The inn allows you to eat but also offers beds. Count 46 euros for one night with meals plus breakfast. The welcome is great!

The Rive dam discharges its waters into the Gier reservoir which itself relies on the Soulages dam further south. The view from the dam allows you to see the downstream dam and the Gier water reservoir.

This small village in Pilat is nestled at an altitude of 650 meters. From here you can enjoy a superb view of the valley and the lake of the Rive dam. The Saint-Ennemond church is worth the detour and if you are looking for a short stop, the Café de la Poste will be perfect for regaining strength during a hike.
