I personally really liked the Gerber Caves 🤗👍🏻. The ascent initially went through a scree field. The mountain hiking trail was very varied. Shortly before the cave there were a few more stairs to climb. It was steep at times. Good, sturdy footwear is recommended. If you want to explore the cave, don't forget a flashlight. However, the cave is closed in the winter months for the bats to hibernate.

The Pfaffenstein is a rock pinnacle that towers over the Großer Lautertal.

The hiking car park in Anhausen is one of the last parking spaces in the Großer Lautertal. You can only get to Lauferühle on foot or by bike through the valley. Simply beautiful without roads. The right place to enjoy nature.

The Hoher Gießel waterfall is a true natural experience. It is the largest waterfall in the Lautertal.
