Unfortunately...the HSB is not very reliable here. If you have the opportunity...you should either go to the Eisfelder Talmühle or take the bus behind the biker meeting point! I had 2 trains cancelled here without any forecast.

From the Dreitälerblick lookout point you can - as the name suggests - look into three valleys: Ilfelder Tal, Kalte Tal and Brandesbachtal. The view is beautiful and there is a bench where you can linger and rest. The HWN 93 stamping point is located above the Rabensteiner Stollen visitor mine and is best reached from the Harzquerbahn Netzkater stop. You can also easily incorporate the HWN 93 into a tour with the HWN 95 (Ilfelder Wettervanne) and HWN 92 (Poppenvergturm). For me, the Dreitälerblick is one of the top 50 stamping points on the HWN!

You almost feel like you've been transported back to the Middle Ages as you walk over the cobblestones toward the old city gate. The gate was once part of Neustadt's city fortifications. 🚂🌲 The South Harz Steam Locomotive Trail winds its way 42 kilometers through the South Harz Mountains, gaining 2,000 meters of elevation and connecting the village of Sophienhof with the town of Nordhausen. The trail follows the tracks of the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway and offers beautiful views of the Harz foothills. On beautiful, natural paths, you traverse picturesque landscapes, passing historic train stations, castle ruins, and many other sights. There are also numerous Harz Hiking Badge stamp points along the route!🌲🚂 The trail leads you through the South Harz Nature Park.
