Beautiful old railway site

Arrival point of the Dolce Via and numerous roads, with a magnificent view of the Sucs and the Mézenc

Place Jean Béal is located in the heart of the village of Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid. It overlooks the Saint-Bonnet church and is an ideal stop for a coffee or for lunch.

Located in the middle of the fields, this road offers unobstructed views of the Lac du Devesset located further south.

Devesset Lake is perched on the Haut-Vivarais plateau at 1,074 meters above sea level. It is one of the most famous lakes in Ardèche. Surrounded by fir trees, the Lac de Devesset site is classified as a Natural Area of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest. Here you can picnic, do nautical activities or simply explore the surroundings by taking the small paths.

Here we find the church of Saint-Agrève which dates from the end of the 19th century. It was built on the site of a previous church built a few years earlier but which was considered too fragile. The bell tower is more recent, from the beginning of the 20th century, because it was ravaged by fire.
