In the heart of the Temple Forest, this road benefits from the welcome shade of the trees in hot weather. The Temple Forest is part of the Forêt d'Orient Regional Natural Park. It takes its name from the Templars. Keep your eyes peeled for a rich array of wildlife.

This village owes its notoriety to the very beautiful lake located in its commune. It is the smallest of the three reservoir lakes, but in my opinion the most preserved.

This town, which is part of the Forêt d'Orient regional natural park, is located on the course of the Barse. The source of this river, a tributary of the Seine, gushes out at the castle which you will not fail to see.

The Saint-Léger parish church was initially built in the 12th century, then completely integrated into a new church, 1866-1867 during the restoration and expansion work carried out by Pierre Lefranc, former architect to King Louis-Philippe, who was elected mayor in 1860. The church contained a font from the end of the 15th century or the beginning of the 16th century. Since 1942, only a few fragments have remained which have been placed in the gallery of the preaching pulpit. These fragments have been "classified" in the inventory of historic monuments since December 27, 1913. The church also contains a funerary slab dated 1296, also "classified" since December 27, 1913 as well as the 12 objects listed in the inventory general cultural heritage. Furthermore, a wooden Christ, dating from the 12th century, was found in 2010.

The church dates from the 12th century and has been listed as a historic monument since 1926. You can admire its Romanesque architecture, its stained glass windows and its carved wooden choir stalls. The church is also surrounded by beautiful countryside, from where one can admire the Aube River and the hills. The church is open to visitors every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Mondays.
