Hike to the stunning Lac d’Oô, a beautiful glacial lake nestled in the Pyrenees. As you approach the lake, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of its clear, turquoise waters, surrounded by sheer cliffs and lush forest. The hike is moderately challenging, with rocky paths leading to a perfect viewpoint where the lake and surrounding peaks create a truly picturesque scene. Take some time to appreciate the tranquility of the area, where you can also catch a glimpse of the impressive Oô waterfall cascading down the mountainside.

After a steep climb from the PP you reach the Refugio de Viados and further to Bordas de Viados. From here a great panorama of the Posets Maladeta mountain range opens up. Many paths lead through the mountain range and along the gorge. A splendor of flowers lies at your feet and the snow-covered peaks delight the eye.

Some of these old and traditional huts are still in use today to store the cut grass. It is because of this use of granary, in French "grange", that its occasional name as farms comes from.

Although on the French side of the Pyrenees it is very common to find dammed lakes, on this side of the mountains it is not so common. The Millares lake is one of the few that is so within the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park, although it is no less beautiful.
