Nice views, but at the end of the path at the intersection with the forest path, it is better to go back down the forest path instead of turning right because the path becomes completely unusable, even by mountain bike in my opinion (overgrown with vegetation on the descent)

Mirepoix is a place well worth seeing, with a town center full of half-timbered houses with rows of shops. It's very busy when it's market day! You can see more of the beautiful houses without the market.

Located between plains and mountains, Pamiers is a pretty little village with character. Its ancient and authentic streets invite you to stroll and travel through the ages.

This superb so-called semi-rock church has three levels. These Romanesque frescoes and its troglodyte appearance give this 10th century religious building a special place. The place is more splendid.

The town of Mirepoix with its beautiful arcades, its colorful houses, its checkerboard streets, its beautiful wooden gargoyles and its numerous shops and cafes seems preserved from the vicissitudes of time. It’s a trip into the past that we indulge in when we walk through the city center.
