These natural hot springs (24°C) have been preserved in their original state since the Arabs used them to work esparto (stiff grass) and linen (15th century). First the "Baño Grande" (= Banos de Vacamia) a bath of 20m² and then "Baño Chico" (= Baños de Urquizar). Urquizar's water was declared minerals in 1990 and thermal water (heated groundwater from the Earth's crust) in 2006.
