Not only is cycling prohibited here, but even carrying bicycles is prohibited. You are neither allowed to push nor carry your bike! Possibly even possessing a bicycle is a criminal offense. This isn't clearly indicated at the entrance; there's just a crossed-out biker on a bicycle. After pushing our bikes 2km and about 300 meters in elevation to the Col de Cou, we fell victim to state-sanctioned highway robbery and paid 50 CHF per person (July 30, 2025).

It's an anti-must, it's more of a bypass! August 2025 impossible to get to this level.

The Pichioc waterfall is a wonderful place. The waterfall itself is not too huge. The water is very cold and can be turbulent, so if you want to go into the river, cross with caution.

Nice to look at. But the hiking trail is not without its challenges

Quite hidden, right by the Gougra waterfalls, is a small "oratoire" that has been lovingly restored. The path is very well secured from below and easily accessible, if you continue after the Oratoire, you can also climb up and immediately return to the normal hiking trail at a picnic area. From above, the small path is rather tricky, especially in damp weather.

Definitely worthwhile: a detour to the Oratoire and the waterfalls. The path is a bit tricky from above, but from below it is very nicely secured and developed.
