3월 19, 2025, Brenner Pass Northern Ascent
One of many ways to cycle up the Brenner Pass: Starting from Innsbruck, you'll cover a total of 36.4 kilometers on your way up. The route is relatively pleasant on asphalt, with an average gradient of 2.2 percent. A plus for Alpine lovers: You'll cycle through picturesque Tyrolean villages time and again.

Great going downhill, we recommend going uphill via the Roman road (Igls-Matrei) - significantly less traffic

Distance: 36.8km with 827m of gradient at 2.1% average slope. A very long climb that goes up the entire valley from Insbruck to the border with Italy in the famous and historic Brenner Pass. It is a climb to enjoy the Austrian landscapes of Tyrol and the tranquility of the roads. Although it seemed very tedious to me before doing it, I have to admit that it was very enjoyable and I really enjoyed it with my friend Jon Uncilla. In Mieders it's steep 12-17%, about 1km. Then it flattens out and levels off at an incline of 7-9%. Beautiful tours and well signposted.

The transition between the Serles and the Kesselspitze. Slightly exposed location and great views towards the Stubai Valley and the opposite direction. Busy on weekends, but why not. Is a great place and also accessible from Mariawaldrast for occasional hikers.

The Serlesjoch is a crossroads below the Serles and the Rote Wand. It is about 30 minutes from the yoke to the summit of the Serles. The way to the summit leads over short via ferrata passages.

7월 10, 2021, Ridge Between Schmirntal and Padastertal
From the Schmirntal, a forest path that is easy to manage with the (E-)MTB leads up to the Winklhütte or to the avalanche barrier. From the Winklhütte, the beautiful hiking trail 73a leads through flower meadows and one or the other wood up to the mountain ridge at around 2,050 meters above sea level. If you like, you can continue along the mountain ridge for about 300 meters further up to the Sumpfkopf and far beyond. Or you can go in exactly the opposite direction to the Hochgeneinerjoch and from there down to St. Jodok or down into the Padastertal and from there to Steinach. In any case, you have a magnificent view!

The Eggerjoch is a 2,218 meter high mountain pass in the Wipptal in Tyrol. The view from up here is breathtaking. You pass the yoke on a hike that is also suitable for inexperienced people via the ridge path to the Lichtsee.

Very nice gap between Serles and Kesselspitze. Great view of the Stubaital, Kalkkögel and Wipptal with Zillertal Alps

The landscape is an absolute highlight, so close to Innsbruck and yet so hidden. A bog and the larch forest make this tour so special.

Mieders in the Stubaital is very obnoxious to mountain bikers. The 6 bike tours between 50 and 9 kilometers in length are well signposted. Uphill, if you wish, it's easier - with the modern high-speed 8-person cable car. In high season, you and your bike will be taken daily from 9am to 5pm to the summit, in the low season until 4.30pm. Half an hour longer at the weekend. The simple ascent costs € 9.60 for adults and € 5.00 for the bicycle. www.serlesbahnen.com Phone: + 43 (0) 5225 62 7760

The ascent to the summit is long, so why not resort to lift support? The Serlesbahn readily transports bicycles, which takes a good six hundred meters of altitude.
