The enclosed hut is a bit dated and unfortunately offers no protection from the elements. You can rest on the bench in front of it in good weather. If it rains, we recommend heading to the open shelter located a little further down.

The Eisenberg trail leads underneath the hut. The short detour up the narrow path is worth it: there is a nice view and there are some outdoor seating areas where you can take a rest. The hut itself is not accessible.

Unfortunately it's right on the A7 motorway and it's so loud that you can't even have a normal conversation. Just get out of there quickly!

Yes, the good old cross oak. Unfortunately, the old oak tree is no longer there and the highway spoils a hike. Nevertheless, it is a central hiking point.

Seating opportunity before the ascent to the Ibrakuppe

The short detour from the main path to the Liesburg hut is worth it, very nice view. You can rest comfortably in front of the hut, but the hut is locked.
