Beautiful castle ruins... you can immediately feel back to that time

Very nice excavation and reconstruction of an old castle ruin. This highlight is worth a short detour. Very interesting place.

Very nicely reconstructed remains of a castle. Highly Recommended.

The entrance gate to the castle is always closed. The castle buildings are badly damaged. The goals mentioned by the owner (e.g. in the press) are not recognizable to this day.

Until the land reform in 1945, the property remained and was owned by the Lucius family. Then war refugees and displaced persons moved in. The castle was later discovered as a place for school sports and for lunching for school children. It also became a hostel for the kindergarten in Klein-Ballhausen. Today the castle is used as a residential building.
