Only dolmen that can still be found "in the wild" in the province of Groningen. The most Northern dolmen on the Hondsrug. Slightly more South, in Midlaren, are D3 and D4 in Drenthe. Both along the Pieterpad.

wonderfully beautiful area. unfortunately I made a mistake when setting up komoot, which is why I cycled criss-cross through it with Pauline. midlaren, Schipborg, Zeegse, Rolde, Anderen, Annen, schipborg, Zuidlaren and back to Midlaren at the Paviljoen de Bloemert had a drink and a delicious Apfelstroedel eaten.

The view over the Drentsche Aa is one of the most beautiful in the Drenthe landscape. This winding stream meanders through flowery grasslands, hedgerows and heathlands. From the higher paths and bridges you have a beautiful panorama of this old cultural landscape.
