Rock formations up to 450 million years old are worth visiting, even if only to appreciate the fleeting nature of the moment we live in. These rocks date back to a time before the age of dinosaurs.

A beautiful section through a typical Småland forest north of Oskarshamn. The trail runs through dense forests with numerous impressive boulders and plenty of natural scree – a true geological journey through time! Hilly and beautiful curves. Mostly car-free. Highly recommended in June.

Långe Erik Lighthouse – Öland's North Cape Located on the main estate and northern peninsula of Öland, Långe Erik Lighthouse is a 32-meter-tall limestone lighthouse. There are 28 steps leading to the balcony, which is approximately 138 meters high.

Långe Erik (German: "Long Erik") is a lighthouse on the island of Stora Grundet, located at the northern tip of the Swedish Baltic Sea island of Öland. At 32 meters high, it is smaller than its counterpart, Långe Jan, at the southern tip.
