Hammelburg has a beautiful, picturesque old town with many historic buildings around the market square. A quick stop on your bike tour is well worth it!

When entering Hammelburg, you immediately notice the roundabout, which is decorated in the middle with a Bocksbeutel sculpture, the traditional bottle shape of Franconian wine.

This point marks the border between the two federal states of Hesse and Bavaria. You can continue along the cycle path on a racing bike, but there are only about 100 meters of gravel, so you just have to be careful.
