Pouillon is a former Gallo-Roman village that once served as a fortified camp along a Roman road between Bordeaux and Pamplona. In the centre you will find traditional houses, a village square and the impressive Église Saint-Martin, an 11th-century Romanesque church with Gothic features, colourful stained glass windows and a marble altar. The Bénarrucq chapel, a former stop for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela, is nearby and adds to the historic character of the village.

The Nécropole Nationale de Villers-Marmery is a military cemetery in Villers-Marmery, France. This cemetery is located in the heart of the Champagne region and contains the graves of soldiers who died for France during the fighting in this region1. The cemetery was originally created to bury soldiers who died in the ambulance centre set up in the village in 1915. Although the initial intention was to make this cemetery temporary and later integrate it into the cemetery of Sept-Saulx, this plan was changed thanks to a petition by Mademoiselle Hazon de Saint-Firmin. She was very attached to the grave of a soldier buried there and managed to preserve and develop the cemetery1. In 2013, the cemetery was renovated and today there are 523 people buried in individual graves

Pretty little town up high, with a center full of culture, its church, its castle and its town hall. It is a good starting point with more sites and memorials in and around the city.

Vranken-Pommery is one of the largest champagne houses in Reims, France. It was created from the merger of Vranken and Pommery, two historic brands that were founded in 1836 and 1858. Vranken-Pommery produces various types of champagne, including the well-known Cuvée Louise and the Brut Royal. The champagne house has a unique domain in the style of an English castle, which was designed by Madame Pommery in the 19th century. The domain includes 50 hectares of land, 18 kilometers of cellars and more than 60 Gallo-Roman chalk pits. The champagne house also regularly hosts exhibitions of contemporary art in its cellars. You can visit the champagne house and take a tour of the cellars, the Villa Demoiselle and the museum.
