Important: The restaurant's closing times weren't up to date on their website. We specifically chose a day when they were open and discovered they were closed. Too bad. The Ochsenberg tour was still fantastic.

Very nice mountain restaurant with a parking lot for hikers. You can start the Ochsenberg tour from here. The path is signposted in both directions. And after the hike, the restaurant is right next door.

Nice barbecue area right next to the shelter. This place is in the forest and does not offer any direct views.

Small dark hut with barbecue area behind. Both in the immediate vicinity of the Teufelslochfelsen with a great view of the Donauschleife.

Be sure to walk to the Teufelslochfelsen and then back at the hut, a hiking trail starts down into the Danube valley. (when hiking from the direction of Unterschmeien)
