This pontoon takes you to the Bois de Saint Pierre and joins other hiking trails towards the top of the town.

This medieval building, surrounded by walls and gardens, stands majestically in the heart of a charming village. From the surrounding paths, the view of the abbey reveals its slate roofs and stone walls. The setting is bucolic, with the river and the surrounding meadows.

From the entrance to the Bois de Saint-Pierre, take the white path that leads to the "crossroads of the five roads". Then turn right towards Nouaillé Maupertuis. The hike then continues with a foray into the Bois de Saint Pierre forest, where winding and shaded paths immerse you in a soothing natural setting. The terrain here can be more technical, with some roots and narrow sections. Dirt track, followed by a classic cemented end with a nice 9% gradient.
