Nice little campsite, nice pitches, small but clean restrooms. The only drawback: no mobile network, sometimes 2G or 3G, Wi-Fi only at registration, and also very slow.

A very nice chambres d'hotes in an old private house with a large garden. There is personal contact with the housewife, breakfast and also a small kitchen on the ground floor with a door to the garden. A small pool would also be a refreshment in the summer.

Figeac is a beautiful little town in the Lot department. It has an old, medieval, well-preserved town centre. It is interesting to visit the Commanderie des Templiers, which costs €5 and gives a good impression of what such houses originally looked like. On the Place de la Halle you can sit comfortably and have a drink.

Figeac is a French commune in the Occitanie region. With 9,802 inhabitants, it is the second largest municipality in the Lot department. In the Middle Ages, at the crossroads of Auvergne, Rouergue and Quercy, Figeac developed into one of the most flourishing medieval towns.

Figeac is a city with an exceptional heritage. Its city center is articulated around the old medieval abbey. Do not miss the Champollion museum. The discoverer of the Rosetta stone who managed to decipher the Egyptian hieroglyphs was born in Figeac and a museum is dedicated to him. http://www.musee-champollion.fr/ The banks of the Célé river which passes through Figeac are very pleasant and also quite photogenic.

Domaine Villedieu probably offers the best guest rooms in the area around Figeac and in the Célé valley. The perfectly furnished mansion is set in a park-like garden. The guest rooms are arranged in small chalets grouped around a swimming pool. The owner and hostess personally takes care of the well-being of the guests. She is an excellent cook.
