A rather pretty ruined bridge. A majestic suspension bridge that must have been truly magnificent in its heyday! On the other side of the current bridge, there's a view of a small village on a lovely little hill, with marshy areas in front; it reminded me (just a little) of a Wish-like Mont Saint-Michel!

The Suspension Bridge between Mallemort and Mérindol. Its restoration should start in early 2025. In a short while, we should be able to use it by bike!

There are only a few ruins left of the Roman temple of Château-Bas, but those that persist are superb. In addition to the base walls, the Corinthian column and the pilaster arouse admiration.

André CHAUVIN is one of the first volunteers of CCFF La Fare Les Oliviers, created in 1980. He died in 2008 (around 80 years old) so the lookout was named in his honor. The track is wide and pleasant and takes the GR de Pays 2013. Vines and olive trees are cultivated on this southern slope.
