El Ejido is a city belonging to the Poniente Almeriense region. Its name comes from the Latin word "exitum" which means "exit to the field". Currently, it is recognized for its large area of greenhouses, known as La Huerta de Europa and El Mar de Plástico.

Uphill with plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful landscape, but a sometimes steep challenge without an E-MTB. Going downhill requires sensible braking and rarely the use of the pedals. It goes down about 500 meters in altitude via natural paths.

Felix is a small town that is more than eight hundred meters high at the foot of the Sierra de Gádor. The town has impressive views as does the road that leads to the center itself. A small, white chapel appears, called Ermita de Felix.
