The actual route along the railway line, and probably the most interesting section between L'Orcha and Mare de Deu (Barranco del Infierno = Hell's Gorge), is unpaved and unpaved, in some parts very gravelly and rough. Very nicely laid out, with a table and benches in the shade of the trees. Water trickles out of a fountain, very idyllic, a very beautiful, peaceful place. An oasis of calm!
