The Roman Bridge of Valdesotos, located near the hamlet of the same name in the Sierra Norte of Guadalajara, is actually of medieval origin, probably from the 12th century, with main use during the Middle Ages and converted as a passage to the Monastery of Bonaval.

The remains that currently survive date from the 13th century. Various reforms were made in the 17th century and it was finally abandoned by the monks in 1821, passing into private hands. It was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 1992, being restored and conditioned for visits by the Castilla-La Mancha Community Board in 2018. Of the monastic complex, the apse, the sacristy, the transept and the southern nave of the church are preserved, as well as some walls of other dependencies.
