Really cycling-friendly cafe: good food and coffee, drinking water tap, bike racks with plenty of space. Only thing I'd say is that the portions are a little small for the price.

Traffic free NCN route through the countryside, very easy riding.

Looks like someones drive but is a Bridle Path on the map, it's a decent gravel cut through BUT the south end spits you out on the A600 which is not ideal.

I'm using this route on the ride from Wootton to Sandy via Danish Camp. It's got a bit of everything, I like it.

Awesome place for coffee and cake i highly recommend you try the sausage roll. They are opened Wednesday through the weekend for now.

Great new cyclists’ cafe. Friendly service with tasty coffee, cakes, sausage rolls & baguettes. Cleat-friendly flooring, pro cycling on the TV projector, as well as plenty of indoor and outdoor seating & bike rack space. If you can get here, get here.

Nice lake that can be found in Marston Vale Millennium Country Park. There are plenty of trails around the lake to chose from, all with that great view of the lake.

A delightful run through the woods when dry some hard packed soil/sand, some soft sand. its a nice fast gentle descent if coming from the north

Handy tarmacked multiuser path to/from Lidlington

There are some secluded spots, accessible via gaps in the shrubbery, great way to rest your feet or have a quick spot of lunch. Particularly peaceful on a warm sunny day.
