Studland Bay is dominated by one of the south coast's most famous landmarks - Old Harry. It is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and is managed by the National Trust. The chalk formations are popularly known as Old Harry Rocks, but the name Old Harry actually refers to the single chalk rock that stands furthest out to sea. A touch of the beaten track. This grass section was parched and bumpy. Not many cyclists. Very enjoyable.

Its the end of the ridge so views over Swanage and over to Poole harbour too. Super nice.

A geat chalky ridge ride with amazing views of this crazy landscape

Named after the dramatic castle ruins that sit on the high above the village, Corfe Castle is a delight to explore. Built strategically at a gap in the Purbeck Ridge, the castle dates back to the 10th century and is today owned by the National Trust. The village is built from characteristic grey Purbeck limestone and boasts a wealth of places to eat and drink, as well as many accommodation options. The walking in the region is superb, with the heaths, hills and, of course, the excellent coast path.

When the sun is out you could almost imagine yourself being abroad.

At peak or busy times these roads are rammed but worth a visit if you can time it right.

Very fun, but watch out if you don't have suspension as it can be quite rough and loose!

But be careful of the loose stones on parts of the track.

Lovely bridleway along the Priests Way not far from the Square & Compass pub.

Unique village with it's own iconic ruin as well as great village shop, bakery and a few pubs.

Hard compact ground. The Obelisk is hidden down in a dip so you can't really see it while cycling along the top.

Make sure your suspension is open and get ready to use your breaks.

The Square and Compass is a fab place to stop for a pie or a pasty and a drink. Super quaint little pub, built in the 18th century. There is lots of space on the green outside for everyone to sit and take in the views to the sea. Don't miss the fossil museum!

The best pub/fossil museum combination in England by a country mile. The Square & Compass is in a fantastic setting at the end of the Priest's Way, just off and above the "main" road into Worth Matravers. The fossil museum is in a small room to the left of the bar and should not be missed.
