Shillingstone Station은 Dorset 시골에 자리 잡은 아름답게 보존된 1950년대 타임캡슐과 같습니다. 한때 전설적인 Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway("Slow and Dirty")의 중요한 정거장이었던 이곳은 현재 헌신적인 자원봉사자 팀에 의해 정성스럽게 복원되고 있습니다. 원래 플랫폼을 거닐고, 빈티지 신호소를 탐험하고, 개조된 철도 차량에서 차를 마실 수도 있습니다. North Dorset Trailway 하이커들이 지나가는 동안 Brief Encounter의 엑스트라인 척하기에 완벽한 장소입니다. 오늘은 Bath행 기차가 없지만 분위기는 순수한 금입니다!

Historic Significance: It is a Grade I Listed Building (the highest level of protection), noted for its special architectural and historic interest. Age: The first record of the bridge dates back to 1334, suggesting its medieval origins, with parts of the current structure likely dating to the 15th century. Construction: It is built of coursed rubble and ashlar stone and features nine semi-circular arches. Widening: The bridge was widened in 1819. The upstream side is the original, medieval part and features triangular cut-waters which extend up to form pedestrian refuges. The downstream side is the later, plainer widening. Inscriptions: There is a reset stone on the east side of the bridge inscribed with the year 1719. Name Origin: The bridge is named Crawford Bridge because it carries the road from Spetisbury to Tarrant Crawford. The nearby area of Spetisbury was historically one of three manors, including Great Crawford.

Durweston Mill is a Grade II listed building, that has been converted into a holiday accommodation with two apartments, Coopers and Riverside, overlooking the River Stour. It also features a separate 5-acre private island with glamping and camping facilities, which are open for bookings and offer activities like fishing, wild swimming, and dog walking.
