Moreton Paddox was the name of a country manor house which stood in this area until 1959 when it was demolished. It was a grand house with formal gardens and an ornamental lake, although little evidence remains.

The longest canal aqueduct in England is said to be 145m long and was built between 1793 and 1812. The iron canal is navigated by narrow, purpose-built ships and the locks are operated by hand. There is a small parking lot below the viaduct. From there you can take a staircase directly to the canal.

Definitely a busy spot for traffic

Green Lane Bridge No 51 is a minor waterways place on the Stratford-on-Avon Canal (Southern Section) between Yarningale Aqueduct (2 miles and 3 furlongs and 5 locks to the northeast) and Edstone Aqueduct (southern end) (1 mile and 7¾ furlongs and 1 lock to the south). The nearest place in the direction of Yarningale Aqueduct is Preston Hill Farm Bridge No 50; 2¼ furlongs away. The nearest place in the direction of Edstone Aqueduct (southern end) is Footbridge No 52; 2¼ furlongs away.

Quite busy with walkers at weekends. Speed limited to 5mph with some narrow sections.

nice, quiet roads to relax on

Draycote Water is an artificial reservoir (23 million m3), which was completed in 1969. In addition to its function as a water reserve, it is a leisure park u.a. for anglers, sailors, hikers. The rich bird life invites also to observations. Swimming is not allowed in the lake.

Good quality bridleway through fields.

The Hatton locks consists of 21 locks with a total rise of 45m.

It’s s a bit rough as horse have used it when it was wet and muddy but is worth the ride. You can get off for Hatton and Hatton locks.

Excellent 8km cycling with great views and rest areas.

It's a road bridge, so you can ride your bike at this location (despite the warning that Komoot currently provides).

Great views of the castle from the aptly named Castle Bridge. The bridge is a grade 2 listed road bridge built between 1790 and 1793 and made of sandstone. It replaced the much older multi arch bridge, the ruins of which are visible between the new bridge and the castle. There has been a castle in Warwick since 1068. It was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century and then improved in the 14th century.

Lovely route through across the farm land, better during the dry weather. Some parts are broken up by horses using it when it was wet. Quiet expect for birds and sheep. Lots of people walk it as well. It can take you into Hatton and the locks but cuts of the main road.

Quite an unusual, but impressive piece of engineering.

A fabulous track besides the canal, which is rideable on just about any bike at any time of the year.
