At 880.8 meters above sea level, the Bolberg is the highest point in the Reutlingen district. From here, you can also enjoy a fantastic panoramic view along the Albtrauf, the area before the Swabian Alb, as well as the Schönbuch and the foothills of the Northern Black Forest.

From the observation tower on the Käpfle (Old Castle) near Reutlingen-Bronnweiler, which was built in 1974 and has been newly renovated since 2019, you have a beautiful view of the northern edge of the Middle Swabian Alb, the Alb foothills and across the Neckar valley to the Schönbuch.

From up there you have a beautiful view. If the weather is nice, even to Stuttgart.

The view is magnificent. Especially of Reutlingen with the Achalm and the Georgenberg. Next to the tower entrance there is a table set for snacks and taking a break.
