The puddle at the Staunton Harold entrance has been fixed! New drainage and gravel - it’s loose chunky gravel, so go slowly on that corner!

It's beautiful to ride along the river here. Close to the city and still exhales a very calm mood.

Love this place. On both sides! Beeston side offers a café on the lock (+ Marina Club a little further down). Clifton side offers beautiful woodlands nearby.

Cranfleet is a short navigational cut off the River Trent. There is a lock here to allow boats to pass.

The stretch of road in Kinchley Lane going past Swithland Reservoir is a super nice biking stretch, mainly tree-lined, but you will still get some good reservoir views here and there.

Swithland Reservoir is a stunning reservoir and is one of the biggest ones in Leicestershire. They say it has over 200 bird species and is a proper little hotspot for birdwatchers.

The view is worth the climb.

Beacon Hill is a tremendous viewpoint and the second highest peak in Leicestershire. It showcases spectacular views of Charnwood Forest, the Soar Valley and beyond. Situated just 2 miles from the M1 motorway and a stone's throw away from Loughborough, the peak offers superb accessibility for those seeking fabulous views with minimal effort.

This trail is 3km from Staunton Harold to Lount, and is a hard packed gravel surface. It winds its way through fields, pine forests, and silver birch. There are a few places where the trail floods but you can cycle through.

This is a gravel trail that connects the top part of the trail into a figure of eight type shape. Watch out for the pot holes on this section
