Now under new ownership but still a great place to stop in a nice location. Outdoor bike parking which can be overseen from the tables inside. Open 9am-3.30pm (3pm Sun, closed Mon).

Cracking free house that offers a good range of beers and good food. Cyclist friendly.

Well stocked village shop. Open from 7am to 10pm 7 days a week.

Good place for gravel and mild tracks. Few dog walkers about at weekends.

Get here just before the entrance to Temple woods.

Village shop serving homemade cakes and savoury snacks. Hot and cold drinks. Has a customer toilet as well.

Grass bridleway runs alongside fields. Good for all abilities.

Useful cut through to get off the A52, trail exits on the Somerby-Ropsley road. Mainly grass, mind the big hole at around halfway down.

Lovely technical woodland trail, careful of the tree roots. Lovely bluebells in the springtime.

Self serve farm shop which sells fresh milk and eggs. This is at the start of the Manor Farm to Bassingthorpe gravel trail.

Stop here in an emergency only. Poor food and customer service.

Not suitable for road bikes. Good for mountain bikes and gravel bikes.

Great trail from Manor Farm where you can buy fresh milk and eggs heading mostly downhill in the direction of Bassingthorpe. Can be completed in reverse. Will be muddy in Winter/Autumn/early Spring, delightful when dry on good days and in the summer. Highly recommended.

Little car park at entrance. The main track through the woods is great for a blast, the smaller avenues are very wet in the winter and need some perseverance to get through. Really good fun though!!
